I am currently doing some shots of my family. Although I am not sure whether all of them will be posted, at least I am posting now portraits of my father. Some of the facts:

Born in 1911 in Hungary.
Still alive and working.
Really cool but as many people of his age, very stubborn.
Perhaps the most influential person around me.
Smoked for about 40 years, around 2 packages a day.
He got bladder cancer but he is now fully recovered from it.
Owns his on factory of Parquet and wooden wall covers for about 60 years now.

Of course a question that might come sometime... how did he got at that age while he smoked for 40 years and he still works? well some of the amazing things while he used to live in the Yungas (west Bolivia region, mountains at 3000m above sea level) is that he used to walk around 30km every day. He did not have a car back then (1940s, 50s and early 60s) and it wasnt untill he moved to Santa Cruz (east Bolivia, tropical zone, about 400m above sea level) that he finally settled in for good, after his "divorce" from his first wife and then met my mom, and blah blah blah.

It's a long story, no doubt. But if someone wonders how did he got here. The only true answer is that while he ran from the jewish persecution in eastern europe in the late 1930s he wanted to go to Argentina. As Argentina asked a lot of money then (I believe around $5000 today) which my father didnt had, he came to Bolivia because 1) Bolivia had free admission and 2) there was nowhere else to go.
